Google Reveals New Logo for Mobile World

Google has unveiled a new logo for its core search services. The change smoothes out some of the features in the letters that make up the well-known colourful logo spelling out its name. It said the change was needed because people were now reaching Google on lots of mobile devices rather than just desktop computers. The change comes after Google put its many divisions under an umbrella company called Alphabet.

Google Inc’s Project Aura seeks to revive Glass, develop other wearable technology

Google is working on a new wearable technology effort known as Project Aura and is hiring consumer electronics experts from Amazon’s secretive Lab126 to jump-start the new group. Project Aura appears to have gotten started in June and is focused on reviving Google’s troubled Glass computer eyeglasses, as well as accelerating Google’s efforts to develop related wearable technology.
